About Tamboran (ASX:TBN)

Tamboran Resources Corporation is a natural gas exploration and production company incorporated in the United States and listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the ASX, where its securities are quoted as CDIs. Its operations are concentrated in the Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory of Australia, where it holds acreage and is developing natural gas resources. The company maintains an Australian office at Barangaroo in Sydney.

Tamboran Resources Corporation (ASX:TBN) and joint venture partner Daly Waters Energy, LP have commenced initial gas sales from the company's Shenandoah South Pilot Project in the Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory. Tamboran said the milestone marks the first volumes delivered from the Beetaloo Basin to the Northern Territory gas market. Volumes from the field are expected to ramp up to the full 40 terajoules per day contracted to the Northern Territory Government under a long-term take-or-pay agreement by early 2027. Tamboran said that during the commissioning period it and Daly Waters Energy will receive a discounted price for the gas, reflecting the interruptible nature of supply during that period.

Chief Executive Officer Todd Abbott said that over the weekend Tamboran and Daly Waters Energy delivered their first molecules of gas from the Beetaloo Basin into the Northern Territory gas network, and described it as a major milestone for the Beetaloo Basin, the Northern Territory and key stakeholders, who will start to see the economic benefit of locally supplied energy. He said it is an important first step towards establishing the Beetaloo Basin as a reliable, long-term source of natural gas for the Northern Territory and, over time, the broader Australian East Coast market, and that the company looks forward to ramping up to full contracted volumes and completing commissioning by early 2027. The release carries images of the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, the Hon. Lia Finocchiaro MLA, and the Minister for Resources, the Hon. Madeleine King MP, opening the valve to deliver the first Beetaloo Basin gas into the Sturt Plateau Compression Facility. The announcement does not state the volumes delivered to date or the discounted price received.
