About Tivan (ASX:TVN)
Tivan Limited is an ASX-listed critical minerals company. It is developing the Speewah fluorite project in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Tivan (ASX:TVN) released an updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Speewah Fluorite Project, prepared by SRK Consulting, that moves most of the resource into the Indicated category needed for Ore Reserve estimation in its Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS).
The JORC (2012) Indicated and Inferred Resource is 45.0 million tonnes at 7.8% CaF2 at a 2% CaF2 cut-off grade, containing 3.5 million tonnes CaF2, of which 37.9 million tonnes at 8.1% CaF2 is Indicated. It includes a high-grade component of 8.6 million tonnes at 22.3% CaF2 at a 10% CaF2 cut-off grade, containing 1.9 million tonnes CaF2. Total tonnage rose 4% on the February 2026 estimate, with grade and contained CaF2 described as broadly consistent, while Indicated tonnes rose 37% and Indicated contained CaF2 rose 21%. The update follows stage two drilling of 135 holes for 14,025m between May and October 2026. Tivan is planning the project in joint venture with Sumitomo Corporation and JOGMEC.
The release contains no Ore Reserve, capital cost or funding plan, and the DFS is still in progress. Tivan's Executive Chairman says the company is heading toward a Final Investment Decision next year. The 7.1 million tonnes of Inferred Resource will not be used for DFS pit shell optimisation.
