About Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR)
Brightstar Resources Limited is an ASX-listed gold company headquartered in Perth. It holds gold projects in Western Australia, including the Sandstone Gold Project.
Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) released the results of targeting work at its Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia, which identified 11 felsic intrusive targets analogous to its Two Mile Hill-Shillington and Bull Oak deposits, with RC drilling scheduled to start in November 2026.
Brightstar says felsic intrusive-hosted deposits account for approximately 50% of the 3.6Moz @ 1.4g/t Au Sandstone Mineral Resource, being Two Mile Hill-Shillington at 24.6Mt @ 1.8g/t Au for 1.45Moz and Bull Oak at 10.5Mt @ 1.0g/t Au for 322koz. The 11 targets are in the Two Mile Hill-Bull Oak corridor and range from a small existing Mineral Resource (6koz @ 0.9g/t Au) to entirely undrilled geophysical anomalies. Targets were defined where a gravity low, interpreted as a lower density felsic intrusion, coincides with logged or mapped granitoid and gold anomalism in surface geochemistry or historic drilling. An initial RC programme will test the highest priority, drill-ready targets, ahead of a broader corridor-wide programme in 2027. A detailed ground gravity survey is under way to refine targets and generate more. Recent intercepts cited are 226m @ 3.11g/t Au from 284m at Two Mile Hill and 167m @ 2.07g/t Au from 104m at Bull Oak.
The release does not give a size or grade estimate for any of the 11 targets, nor the number of holes, metres or cost of the RC programme. Some targets need gravity survey or field reconnaissance work before any drill testing.
