About Talga (ASX:TLG)
Talga Group Ltd is an ASX-listed battery materials company headquartered in Perth. It is developing natural graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries from its graphite deposits and planned processing operations in northern Sweden.
Talga (ASX:TLG) released this to report that its July 2026 Letter of Intent with Japan's Dainen Materials has progressed to a binding offtake term sheet for Talnode®-C anode material from Sweden, following testing against the specifications of Dainen's Japanese battery customers.
Key terms include a binding reservation of up to 2,000 tpa of Talnode®-C capacity for Dainen or its customers, and a five-year term from an expected start of delivery in late 2027, with extension rights. Pricing is linked to a negotiated price floor plus a mutually agreed FEOC-free / ESG / traceability premium (USD, EXW). Both parties have a binding obligation to use commercially reasonable efforts to execute the definitive Master Supply Agreement by March 2027. The agreement is binding as to the capacity reservation, commercial framework and negotiation obligations. Dainen says it looks forward to working toward the definitive Master Supply Agreement and the continued qualification of Talnode®-C with its customers.
Final purchase volumes will only be confirmed in the Master Supply Agreement, which has not yet been executed. The release does not disclose the price floor or the premium, and qualification with Dainen's customers is continuing.
