About Monadelphous (ASX:MND)
Monadelphous Group Limited is an ASX-listed engineering contractor headquartered in Perth and founded in 1972. It builds and maintains processing plant, pipelines, and port and rail infrastructure for iron ore, LNG, gold and infrastructure clients, split between an Engineering Construction division and a larger, more recurring Maintenance and Industrial Services division. It also builds wind and solar projects through its Zenviron joint venture.
Monadelphous (ASX:MND) announced a set of new resources sector contract awards valued at approximately $150 million, covering maintenance, shutdown and temporary infrastructure work for three mining and port clients.
The awards include a four-year contract to continue providing maintenance services and minor projects on Rio Tinto's marine infrastructure at the Dampier and Cape Lambert Ports in Western Australia. Monadelphous has also been awarded a contract with BHP associated with the Ministers North Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. That work includes the establishment and maintenance of temporary non-process infrastructure facilities and associated services, and is expected to be completed by mid-2028. The third award is a three-year contract, with a two-year extension option, to continue providing shutdown services across Whitehaven Coal's mine sites in Queensland and New South Wales.
The release gives only the combined value of approximately $150 million. It does not break that value down by contract or state when the revenue will be earned.
