About RemSense (ASX:REM)
RemSense Technologies Limited is an ASX-listed digital asset visualisation company headquartered in Perth. Its virtualplant platform converts high-resolution 3D imagery, LiDAR scanning and photogrammetry into visual twins of industrial sites. It supplies energy and resources operators in Australia and internationally.
RemSense Technologies Limited (ASX:REM) has advised that it has received Letters of Award for two further projects for the deployment of its virtualplant technology across two additional offshore oil and gas platforms in Bass Strait, now operated by Woodside Energy. The two awards have a combined contract value of A$365,230. RemSense said the awards follow the transition of operations from Esso Australia to Woodside Energy on 1 July 2026 and take its virtualplant footprint with Woodside to ten offshore and onshore assets across Australia, comprising five assets in the NW Shelf and five assets in Bass Strait. The company said it has worked with Woodside since 2018 and first introduced virtualplant into the Bass Strait operations under Esso.
Under the new Letters of Award, RemSense will deliver high-resolution reality capture, processing and creation of virtualplant visual twins for both offshore platforms. The project includes aerial and terrestrial ultra-high-resolution LiDAR scanning and advanced 360-degree photogrammetry, creation of enhanced virtualplant visual twins to support Remote Digital Visual Inspections, maintenance planning and engineering workflows, and ongoing virtualplant access and subscription services. RemSense's project team is scheduled to mobilise to site on 13 September 2026. The company stated there are no material terms or conditions precedent requiring satisfaction to enable the contract works to be fulfilled, and no terms or conditions considered outside of normal commercial terms and conditions, including termination clauses. The announcement states that Bass Strait comprises 16 offshore platforms and installations.
