About Activeport (ASX:ATV)
Activeport Group Ltd is an ASX-listed technology company headquartered in Perth. It supplies network automation and orchestration software used by telecommunications, data centre and IT customers to provision and manage Network-as-a-Service connectivity.
Activeport (ASX:ATV) signed a stage-1 contract valued at more than A$1m with Microscan Infocommtech Private Limited, described as Mumbai's largest independent fibre operator, to deploy ActivePort network orchestration software for a pan-India Network-as-a-Service platform.
The deployment covers Microscan's fibre backbone of more than 1,800 kilometres, reaching major data centres, cable landing stations and thousands of commercial buildings. Activeport will deliver portal and provisioning software so Microscan customers can order on-demand connectivity, access IP transit and connect to neo-cloud and enterprise cloud on-ramps. Stage 1 is expected to generate in excess of AUD $1M and grow as monthly per-service licence fees scale. The parties intend a proposed second stage with additional network-security products, subject to final commercial terms and definitive documentation. The contract includes customary termination clauses for breach of ownership, change of ownership and insolvency. The release does not state a fixed contract term or a firm go-live date beyond management comments that the platform is expected to go live before the end of 2026.
