In an address to the 2026 Annual General Meeting, ALS Limited (ASX:ALQ)'s CEO and Managing Director reviewed FY26 performance and provided a first-quarter FY27 trading update. In FY26, the Minerals business delivered 20.2% organic growth and a record year of samples processed, with margin expanding to 33%. For Q1 FY27, ALS said it remains on track to deliver high single-digit organic revenue growth and margin improvement consistent with FY26. Commodities organic revenue growth is trending above the 15-17% guided H1 range, with Minerals running ahead of expectations, while Oil & Lubricants was slightly behind. Life Sciences delivered low single-digit organic growth, with Food mid-single digit, Environmental low single-digit and Pharma negative low single-digit. The Company also confirmed it has signed an agreement to acquire an additional 18% interest in its existing Saudi joint venture, increasing its total holding to 60%, pending regulatory approvals, with completion anticipated in the coming weeks.
