About Acusensus (ASX:ACE)

Acusensus Limited is an ASX-listed technology company headquartered in Melbourne. It develops camera systems and artificial intelligence software used by road authorities and police to detect offences including mobile phone use, seatbelt non-compliance and speeding, and it also supplies a roadside worker safety system. It sells into Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Acusensus (ASX:ACE) has signed a new multi-year contract with the ACT Government that expands its role in the territory from mobile phone and seatbelt detection to red-light, speed and average speed enforcement.

The new Master Services Agreement, signed by subsidiary Acusensus Australia Pty Ltd, has an initial term of five years with an estimated value of approximately $63m (excluding GST), and two options to extend for up to a further five years each. The company estimates the total contract value at $210m (excluding GST) should the options be exercised. Services include the provision, operation and maintenance of enforcement cameras and mid-office software solutions for the Territory to perform adjudication processes. Delivery will combine multifunction trailer based enforcement, trailer and vehicle based speed enforcement, and fixed-site red-light and speed cameras. With this contract, the ACT joins WA in using the company's full multifunction enforcement camera solutions. Acusensus also supplies enforcement solutions in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The $210m figure depends on both extension options being exercised. The staged rollout is only expected to commence in mid-2027, and the release does not state expected margins or how revenue will be phased.
