About Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB)
Aussie Broadband Limited is an ASX-listed telecommunications company headquartered in Morwell, Victoria. It provides broadband, mobile and voice services to residential, business, enterprise, government and wholesale customers, and owns fibre network infrastructure.
Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) used its AGM to reaffirm FY27 guidance and report connection growth as it nears the end of migrating customers from recent acquisitions.
Year to date the company has added more than 193,000 broadband connections, taking total connections above 1.3 million. Excluding the migrated AGL, More and Tangerine customers, it grew by 18,800 connections, of which 11,000 was organic net growth in the residential segment. FY27 guidance is reaffirmed at underlying EBITDA between $205 million and $215 million and capital expenditure between $60 million and $65 million. The AGL migration is due for completion in October, and the company says the migrations caused short-term customer disruption and operational noise that it expects to dissipate in the next few weeks. In FY26, group revenue increased by 9.2% to almost $1.3 billion and underlying EBITDA was $165.3 million, while ordinary fully franked dividends rose from 4 cents to 6 cents per share. An on-market share buyback of up to $115 million was announced in August, and the company's share of the NBN market rose 3.7 percentage points to 12.1% during FY26.
The release gives no revenue or earnings figures for the first quarter, and the company states that its Look-to-28 ambitions are not guidance.
