About Alkane (ASX:ALK)

Alkane Resources Limited is an ASX-listed gold and antimony producer headquartered in Perth. It also owns the Boda-Kaiser gold-copper porphyry project in New South Wales.

Alkane (ASX:ALK)'s first quarter report for FY27 shows costs running below its full-year guidance range as the company paid its maiden dividend and reaffirmed production guidance.

The company produced 39,823 ounces of gold and 396 tonnes of antimony, or 40,740 gold equivalent ounces, at an AISC of $2,805/AuEq oz. Gold equivalent sales were 38,348 ounces for revenue of $206 million, compared with 47,411 AuEq oz and $257 million in Q4 FY26, at an average gold sales price of $5,128/oz and an average antimony sales price of $23,842/t. Mine operating cash flow was $102 million. Cash and bullion was $440 million, or $459 million including listed investments, after $13 million of corporate income tax payments. A maiden fully franked dividend of 2 cents per share was paid, and a $50 million buyback was approved in September 2026. Hedges of 7,800 ounces were filled during the quarter. Tomingley processed 343,988 tonnes at 2.16g/t, Costerfield 41,528 tonnes at 6.47g/t gold and 1.11% antimony, and Björkdal 355,260 tonnes at 0.98g/t.
