About Regis (ASX:RRL)
Regis Resources Limited is an ASX-listed gold producer headquartered in Perth. It operates the Duketon gold operations in the north-eastern Goldfields of Western Australia and holds an interest in the Tropicana gold mine, also in Western Australia.
Regis (ASX:RRL) Resources' September quarter report confirms first-quarter output in line with its expectations despite heavy September rain, and shows cash and bullion rising after receipt of the Vault Minerals break fee.
Group gold production was 83.0koz at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $3,617/oz, including non-cash costs of $114/oz. Duketon produced 56.1koz at $3,657/oz and Tropicana 27.0koz at $3,423/oz. Gold sales of 74.5koz totalled $454M at an average realised price of $6,088/oz, and operating cash flow was $265M. Cash and bullion rose to $1.28B at 30 September 2026 from $1.18B at 30 June, after $53M of tax payments and including the $51M break fee from Vault Minerals. After the quarter, fully franked final FY26 dividends of 20 cps ($152M) were paid. The company says the September rainfall delayed access to higher grade open pit ore and inhibited ore haulage. Also after the quarter, the Federal Court ruled that the Section 10 Declaration affecting part of the approved McPhillamys Gold Project site is legally invalid.
Full year guidance for both operations is maintained, with the company noting a stronger second half. McPhillamys still faces a redetermination process, and Regis says it continues to progress an alternative development pathway.
