Endeavour Q1 Group Sales Up 2.8% to $3,178 million

Endeavour released its first quarter trading update for its Annual General Meeting, showing continued Retail sales growth while Hotels growth moderated as cost of living pressure weighed on discretionary spending.

Total Group Sales for the 14 weeks from 29 June 2026 to 4 October 2026 were $3,178 million, up 2.8% on $3,091 million. Retail sales were $2,575 million, up 3.0%, driven by transaction growth in Dan Murphy's, and Hotels sales were $603 million, up 1.9%. Endeavour says promotional intensity remains elevated, particularly in the online channel. Dan Murphy's added 3 (net) new stores and BWS added 2 (net) new stores. At the end of Q1, Retail began cycling higher sales in the prior year, following the introduction of lower shelf prices and an uplift in industry-wide promotional activity. In Hotels, gaming revenue in Q1 F27 was flat compared to Q1 F26, food and beverage sales were supported by a record 38% scan rate for pub+ loyalty members, and 34 hotel refurbishments and renewals are expected to be completed by the end of H1.

The update covers sales only. It gives no earnings, margin or full year guidance, and Endeavour expects customers to continue to manage their spending carefully.
