Peninsula Energy Limited (ASX:PEN) has announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for its Lance Project in Wyoming, USA, lifting contained U3O8 to 59.0 million pounds after delineation and development drilling in the Ross Area Mine Unit 4. The MRE was prepared by independent consultant WWC Engineering in accordance with the JORC Code (2012 Edition) and is reported as at 31 December 2025.
The updated Lance MRE comprises 53.9 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.050% U3O8 for 59.0 Mlbs contained U3O8, made up of 4.3 Mlbs Measured, 12.9 Mlbs Indicated and 41.7 Mlbs Inferred, a 1.7% increase from the previous 58.0 Mlbs. The Ross Mining Area resource rose 15.6% (1.0 Mlbs) to 7.4 Mlbs U3O8, including 5.9 Mlbs in Measured and Indicated (2.2 Mlbs Measured and 3.7 Mlbs Indicated). Mineral Resources at Kendrick and Barber are unchanged. The estimate uses a GT contour of 0.2 and a grade cut-off of 200 ppm U3O8.
Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. Further delineation drilling is planned at Kendrick.
