About Kaiser Reef (ASX:KAU)

Kaiser Reef Limited is an ASX-listed gold producer headquartered in Perth. It operates the Henty gold mine in Tasmania and the Maldon gold project and processing plant in Victoria.

Kaiser Reef (ASX:KAU) released its September 2026 quarter production and cash update to report output from its Henty and Maldon operations and progress toward completing repayment of its gold loan.

Managing Director Brad Valiukas puts total quarterly output at 6,263oz of gold. The Henty Gold Mine in Tasmania produced 5,692oz Au and poured 5,259oz Ag, and the Maldon Gold Project in Victoria produced 572oz Au; the site figures in the release differ from that total by one ounce. Closing cash and bullion was A$40M. Kaiser Reef reduced its Auramet gold loan by 312oz Au, approximately A$1.9M net effect, leaving 104oz Au to be repaid in October, and made a deferred payment of 150oz Au to Catalyst, approximately A$0.9M net effect. The company says it continued to reinvest in infrastructure, equipment and exploration across both assets during the quarter.

Valiukas says Henty production is not yet where the company wants it to be, following personnel changes on site. The release gives no costs, grades, sales or guidance for the quarter.
