About Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL)
Catalyst Metals Limited is an ASX-listed gold producer. It operates and develops gold mines on the Plutonic Gold Belt in Western Australia and holds exploration interests north of the historic Bendigo goldfield in Victoria.
Catalyst reported delineation of 2Moz of Ore Reserves across the Plutonic Gold Belt, which it says supplies the inventory to support a ±200koz per annum production rate for ±10 years.
Probable Ore Reserves at 30 June 2026 total 23.4Mt at 2.6g/t Au for 1,971koz, comprising underground Reserves of 18.5Mt at 3.0g/t for 1,751koz, open-pit Reserves of 4.6Mt at 1.4g/t for 213koz, and surface stockpiles of 0.2Mt at 1.0g/t for 7koz. Over the past 12 months Ore Reserves grew 35% from 1.5Moz to 2.0Moz. Since acquisition, Catalyst says it has added about 1.8Moz of Reserves after depletion for about A$226m at a cost of A$125/oz, with over half of Reserve growth under its ownership attributable to higher-grade sources at Trident, Old Highway, Cinnamon and Keillor. Ore Reserves are based on a gold price of A$4,500/ounce. The company states Mineral Resources of 5.1Moz at 3.2g/t Au, cash and bullion of A$331m and nil debt. Catalyst will decide in December 2026 whether it changes exploration activities and expenditure. It says the September 2025 general 10-year guidance should be seen as a general guide to management's long-term vision after changes to permitting timelines, operational delays and processing capability.
The ±200koz production rate is presented as a plan rather than period-specific production guidance. A full Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Statement is to follow under Listing Rule timing.
