About Aura (ASX:AXQ)
Aura Consolidated Group, Inc. is a United States incorporated online safety and digital wellbeing company headquartered in Boston, with its securities quoted on the ASX under the code AXQ. It sells subscription services that protect individuals and families from identity theft, financial fraud and online threats, and, through Qoria, supplies schools and parents with child online safety tools. It also offers an enterprise security product for managed service providers and small and mid-sized businesses.
Aura (ASX:AXQ) reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, its first earnings announcement following completion on 17 July 2026 of its acquisition of Qoria Limited. Because the acquisition closed after the end of the quarter, Aura's statutory financial statements reflect Aura on a standalone basis, and the company presented unaudited pro forma summary results for the merged group, combining Aura's historical financial information with Qoria's historical financial information prepared in accordance with US GAAP. On that pro forma basis, GAAP revenue was US$85.1 million, an increase of 27% year over year; annual recurring revenue was US$339.7 million, also up 27%; and the Adjusted EBITDA loss was US$12.6 million, a 51% year-over-year improvement from a US$25.5 million loss. Aura said the ARR methodologies of the two companies were aligned after the transaction closed and that, under the methodology applied in prior disclosures, Q2'26 ARR would have been US$354.0 million. The company stated that the financial information in the release is unaudited and that the pro forma information has not been subject to audit or review by its independent auditor.
Aura said it is executing ahead of plan on the US$55 million cost-out program outlined to investors in February 2026, having actioned US$27 million in annualised run-rate direct and operating cost reductions to date against a US$25 million target, alongside a US$7 million reduction in brand and performance marketing spend in the first half of 2026 and a further US$28 million reduction planned for the second half. Total liquidity, which Aura defines as cash plus available borrowing capacity under its revolving credit facility and which is stated assuming payment of estimated transaction costs, was US$124.0 million at the transaction close, following a US$100 million equity raise and an upsized US$100 million debt facility. The company reaffirmed its calendar year 2026 outlook for ARR growth of 20% or more and positive free cash flow from transaction close to year end, and said it remains on track to achieve full product integration by the second quarter of 2027. Other quarterly highlights included the commencement of unrestricted ASX trading under the ticker AXQ on 20 July 2026 following implementation of the scheme of arrangement on 17 July, the launch of enterprise security product Aura Business in April 2026, and the appointments of Steven Young as Global Chief Marketing Officer and Adam Medros as Chief Product Officer.
