AnteoTech CEO David Radford (ASX: ADO) says the rubber is hitting the road when it comes to demand for its Ultra Node product, after selling the first unit to Mercedes Benz for evaluation. David says there have been promising results from joint tests, with expectations for a commercial agreement growing. Interestingly, the Ultra Node is also being tested for applications in healthcare and the electronics sector.
AnteoTech is in a sweet-spot according to David, who says the shift to alternative anode materials like silicon over China-sourced graphite. David reckons this trend will prompt US interest in Australian solutions, offering supply assurance and improved performance.
