Company Interview03 Jun, 2026

Megaport (ASX:MP1) has announced four new AI infrastructure contracts worth nearly $459-million. The company says the contracts are with US based technology providers. It will set up globally distributed AI inference cloud which will be offered to enterprise customers through contracted and consumption based pricing models. Megaport has also announced a rights issue to raise $827-million dollars. It has extended its trading halt.

Macquarie (ASX:MQG) says it's asset management arm and Brazil's IG4 Capital have agreed to sell a controlling stake in CLI, a Brazilian bulk terminal operator. The deal is worth $835-million dollars. The transaction requires regulator approvals.

Ampol (ASX:ALD) says the ACCC has approved its acquisition of EG Group Austraila. That's after it sold off 41 petrol stations to address competition concerns. The ACCC says it was conscious of community concern about fuel prices and the cost of living.

The Lottery Corporation (ASX:TLC) has lowered its full year operating expense guidance to fund its push into AI. It expects operating expenses of $300-million to $310-million dollars. The firm says that's because of strict cost discipline and a permanent reduction in its workforce.

Superloop (ASX:SLC) has upgraded its full year earnings forecast. It now expects underlying earnings of between $118 million and $122-million dollars. The move comes after its recent acquisition of Lightning Broadband.
