Headline inflation dipped slightly from a year ago according to the Bureau of Statistics.

Consumer prices rose 3.7 percent over the year to February.That's down from 3.8 percent over the year to January.Headline line inflation was flat over the month of February.Trimmed mean inflation rose by 3.3 percent over the year.But the figures do not reflect the surge in oil prices because of the war in the Middle East.Markets are betting on a 50 percent chance of the RBA lifting rates again in May.

APA Group (ASX:APA) has completed the sale of its 20 percent stake in Allgas Network to Stonepeak. The divestment generated $62 million dollars for APA and is part of APA's broader strategy to simplify operations and focus on core assets. APA will continue delivering corporate services to Allgas for up to three years post-completion.
