Woolworths (ASX:WOW) has cut its full year guidance - pointing to incremental fuel costs from the Middle East conflict and investments to support customer budgets during rising inflation. The downgrade comes as third quarter sales hit $18.1 billion dollars, up 4.5 percent year-on-year. Australian Food sales grew nearly 6% percent and eCommerce sales reached 2.7 billion dollars, up more than 20 percent. Stake’s Market Analyst Kylie Purcell says this growth is driven by volume not price. That consumers are buying more items per basket, engaging with more promotions and leaning heavily into loyalty programs. Meanwhile New Zealand Food earnings are expected to be below the prior half-year.
And Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) has upgraded FY26 production guidance across multiple operations....including Onslow Iron, Mining Services, and Mt Marion....The company's net debt fell to 4.5 billion dollars from 4.9 billion, while lithium prices climbed 92 percent quarter-on-quarter.
South32 (ASX:S32) has upgraded its Taylor project with a 52 per cent increase in ore reserves and extended mine life to approximately 33 years...The company has raised growth capital expenditure guidance to US$3.3 billion, reflecting scope additions including inflation and US tariffs. ...First production in the second half of FY28 and full nameplate capacity expected by FY31.
Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) has lowered its FY26 uranium production guidance....The downgrade follows heavy rainfall in March that restricted site access and delayed critical infrastructure work. Third quarter production fell 56 percent to 203 thousand pounds. Cash costs rose to $60 per pound, doubling on the previous quarter.
The real estate developer reports masterplanned community net sales climbed 43 percent year-on-year...Land lease community sales surged 162 percent. Stockland (ASX:SGP) also says it has finalised a 50-50 partnership with EdgeConneX to develop an Australian data centre portfolio and completed regulatory approvals for a land lease partnership with M&G Real Estate.
An Australian Clinical Labs (ASX:ACL) subsidiary has been impacted by a cyber incident involving an external IT service provider. SunDoctors is investigating whether sensitive personal information was impacted and has notified Australian cyber authorities. ACL confirms there has been no impact to core laboratory systems or operations.
