Vista Group International (ASX:VGL) has reported half-year revenue of 86.3 million New Zealand dollars, up 12.1 percent from the prior year. The software provider has also upgraded its FY26 revenue guidance; after new cinema contract wins. However, the software and services company recorded a net loss of 1.5 million dollars, a 25 percent deterioration compared to the same period last year. And No interim dividend will be paid.

Internet services provider Pentanet (ASX:5GG has lifted earnings by 74% to $2.4 million according to its unaudited FY26 results. Meanwhile group revenue was up 8% fro the previous corresponding period. Pentanet owns a large cluster of Nvidia's GPUs and says that the increased cost of gaming hardward has improved the value proposition for its premium cloud-gaming services.

Westpac (ASX:WBC) has completed the sale of its RAMS mortgage portfolio, valued at around $15.4 billion, to a consortium led by Pepper Money. The bank says the transaction strengthens its balance sheet and reduces operational complexity. Westpac's common equity Tier 1 ratio has increased by around 23 basis points following completion.

Also, after the bell on Friday... ANZ (ASX:ANZ) completed its acquisition of Worldline's 51% share in ANZ Worldline, taking full ownership of the merchant payments business. The enterprise value was $89 million, with an estimated implied equity value of approximately $30 million. Around 270 ANZ Worldline employees will join the ANZ Group. The bank says existing operations will continue without change during integration.

Regis Healthcare (ASX:REG) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the home care business of the Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria's. The acquisition covers approximately 480 clients and is expected to increase Regis' home care revenue by more than $10 million, taking annualised revenue to approximately $50 million. The transaction will be funded from existing cash with completion expected in the second quarter of FY27, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.

Steadfast Group (ASX:SDF) has confirmed that the Amwins, Dragoneer and KKR consortium intends to proceed with acquiring the insurance broker at $6 per share in cash. Due diligence work is substantially complete and the exclusivity period extends to 19 August to allow finalisation of transaction documentation. Steadfast says there is no guarantee a binding agreement will be reached.
