Is the SaaS-pocalypse over?

Company Interview26 Feb, 2026

Key points:

Nvidia delivers strong results, boosting tech sector sentiment Software/SaaS stocks show recovery but investor caution persists Increasing activity and positive signals in Bitcoin market Geopolitical uncertainty around US-Iran talks not fully reflected in equities

Nvidia’s latest results have taken centre stage, with Kyle Rodda from Capital.com highlighting the company’s impressive performance. Rodda points to Nvidia smashing both earnings and revenue expectations, with strong margins and guidance at the high end of analyst forecasts. He suggests this solid outcome could provide new impetus for further gains in technology stocks, especially following recent volatility. The tech sector’s outsized weighting on Wall Street means Nvidia’s results (NASDAQ:NVDA) may act as a broader market catalyst.

Rodda identifies signs of recovery in software and SaaS stocks amid bearish sentiment, noting these stocks have rebounded about 4% following a significant prior slump. He cautions, however, that tech and AI disruptions are ongoing and that investors remain wary, focusing more on avoiding losers than chasing winners. Rodda notes valuation concerns persist, and while Nvidia’s outlook is buoyant, major tech players—the hyperscalers—could still face some multiple compression given the ongoing arms race in the sector.

Rodda also observes a bump in Bitcoin, up 7%, which he considers a risk barometer with a possible double-bottom forming. He sees this as an indicator of improving risk sentiment, potentially signalling a turning point for broader markets. Concerns linger over US-Iran negotiations, with commodities such as oil and gold reacting, while equities have yet to fully price in geopolitical risks.
