Green360 signs first binding commercial supply agreement with Holcim for calcined clay cement replacement Banks targets replacement of fly ash and slag amid policy‑driven supply decline in Australia Initial phase involves ~5,000 tonnes into five Melbourne batching plants to prove commercial scale

Green360 Technologies signs its first binding commercial supply agreement with global cement and concrete producer Holcim, which Aaron Banks views as a landmark step in commercialising the company’s lower‑carbon supplementary cementitious material. Banks states the new calcined clay product is designed to partially replace Portland cement and, critically, to substitute fly ash and slag, which he views as facing a structural decline in Australia due to coal‑fired power station closures.

Banks explains Green360 is vertically integrated, owning the ore body and manufacturing facility in Victoria, currently producing around 24,000 tonnes for traditional markets such as paints, coatings, pharmaceuticals and agricultural products, supplying clients including Dulux, Estée Lauder, Selleys, Bostik, Yates and Nufarm. Under the Holcim agreement, Banks says Green360 will initially deliver just under 5,000 tonnes to about five Melbourne batching plants as a “market creation” phase, using toll processing with Calix to prove commercial‑scale supply.

According to Banks, the product aims to offer no green premium, improved durability and a solution to what he characterises as an impending “supply cliff” in supplementary cement materials. He outlines plans to fill the remaining 25,000‑tonne Stage 1 capacity with other major concrete producers, then scale up towards 500,000–600,000 tonnes along the eastern seaboard.
