Burton attributes the performance to a strong global order pipeline in core sleep and neuro‑diagnostics, where the group has about 30,000 installations worldwide. He views ongoing demand for diagnosing sleep disorders and neurology conditions as a key support for future growth.
Burton highlights two “breakout” areas: the Somfit wearable home sleep testing device and the Orion MEG brain scanner. Somfit is described as gaining traction with big pharma studies, CROs and Australian pharmacies, and expanding in the US home sleep testing market. A new disposable Somfit product is seen as a potential step change, with Burton expecting it to materially accelerate high‑margin SaaS and recurring revenue streams.
On Orion, Burton reports six MEG brain scanner orders worth around $30 million in the initial commercial phase, with US launch still to come. The system is positioned for epilepsy surgery planning and broader indications such as autism, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Burton notes helium supply issues have delayed some shipments, yet sees record invoicing and a sizeable unrecognised order book as evidence of business resilience.
