A "turning point" for Green & Gold Minerals

Company Interview29 Apr, 2026

Green & Gold Minerals’ managing director Quentin Hill outlines what he describes as a “turning point” for the company, following new results from its Herberton Conductor Metals Project in north Queensland. Hill states Green & Gold Minerals has almost doubled its exploration ground for only a modest increase in shares on issue, arguing this lifts the depth and strength of its prospect pipeline and potential for share price growth. The Herberton area, known for tin, copper and silver, is said to complement the company’s gold and silver position at Chillagoe.

Hill highlights the Conductor Metals project as leveraging demand from AI and electrification, with copper as the wire and gold, silver and tin as the connectors. He adds that indium has now been identified at Copper Hills, closely associated with silver, and notes Queensland’s classification of indium as a critical mineral could open the door to government grants. Drilling at Copper Hills will target copper, silver and indium.

At Mount Wandoo, Hill points to previous gold intercepts and sees it as a near‑term development prospect, targeting commercial operations around 2027. With drilling campaigns about to restart post‑wet season, Hill argues the underexplored north‑east Queensland ground offers strong leverage to any discovery.
